- Durable Pole. The combined height of the pole and base is 6.25 feet The pole is 5.5 feet tall. Pre-drilled poles are made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is thicker than PVC and won't get brittle in low temperatures - delivering higher impact resistance. The pre-drilled post includes a detent hole and security bolt to prevent turning or removal of the pole.
